When I told you I loved you, I meant it. You were my first, I’ve never had anything like you. And now that you’re not around, I wish I could take back all those times I took you for granted. I wish I spent more time with you and showed you how much I cared. I just want you to know that I never replaced you; I never will. You will always hold that big spot in my heart. Everything about you… that cute face, the way you acted around me, it meant something. It’s been about two years now, and it’s really hard to admit to myself that you’re gone. Even my parents grew attached to you. Every time I say your name, I catch myself trying to hold back tears. But you’re in a better place now.
